We are delighted to announce that Demelza Hospice Care for Children will be the firm’s chosen Charity of the Year for 2025.

Demelza provides specialist care and support to babies, children, and young people with serious or terminal conditions across Kent, East Sussex, and South East London. Their dedicated teams offer a range of services, including:

• Hospice care: Providing respite breaks for families, end-of-life care, and support for siblings.
• Family support: Offering emotional and practical support to families, including counselling, bereavement support, and play therapy.
• Community care: Bringing care to families in their own homes, including nursing care, physiotherapy, and specialist equipment.

Throughout the year, the team at Hardmans will be actively involved in fundraising activities to support Demelza. These may include:

• Charity events: Organising and participating in various events such as bake sales, raffles, and sponsored walks.
• Office collections: Collecting donations from staff and clients.
• Awareness campaigns: Raising awareness about Demelza’s vital work within the local community.
